摘要 | Dehydroxylation of synthetic aluminous goethites formed from the ferrous system was investigated using thermogravimetry, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, BET specific surface area and pore size measurements. The rate of isothermal dehydroxylation decreased with increasing Al substitution and increased with increasing temperature. The decrease in specific surface area for heating temperatures above 240°C was attributed to the sintering and growth of hematite crystals. The effect of aluminium substitution dominates the change in mesopore distribution compared with a minor effect of heating. |
