Abstract	马来平教授的新作《科学的社会性和自主性:以默顿科学社会学为中心》对国外成熟的科学社会学研究成果进行了全面系统的评述和总结,并结合中国的实际,指出了21世纪中国主流科学观的缺陷及其重塑的必要性和方向。该书是从科技哲学角度研究西方科学社会学的理论贡献与应用价值的一次较为成功的尝试。其中,就对默顿科学社会学而言,既有对默顿的守护与坚持,又有作者自己对默顿观点的修正、完善和超越。本书强调的中国主流科学观中科学自主性意识的缺失,应引起相关部门的重视,作者关于21世纪中国主流科学观重塑的呼吁表达了学界共同的心声。
