Abstract | In this paper, a kind of sets of points uniformly distributed on a sphere, proposed by Wang and Fang (1990), is applied to testing multinormality and estimating the mean vector. Some numerical examples show that uniformity of this kind of sets of points is acceptable for most practical problems. A statistical table of skewness and kurtosis for testing multinormality is also presented. |
