摘要	Testing symmetry of a univariate distribution has been received much attention. Aki (1993) proposed a test for symmetry in high-dimensional space and investigated its asymptotic behavior. We in this paper develop a new approach for testing symmetry of a multivaraite distribution. The test is constructed based on pro jection idea and number-theoretic method and is easier to implement in practice. Some simulation experiments are performed to demonstrate powers of the test and a real-life data set is analyzed via applying the new test.
