题名March inspired geographic routing protocol in wireless sensor networks

摘要In order to save the limited energy of the sensors, a novel geographic routing protocol called March Inspired Geographic (MIG) routing protocol is proposed for "many to one" communications in wireless sensor networks. With the proposed protocol, the packet can avoid meeting the "hole" in advance instead of bypassing the hole after it meets the hole. So this protocol decreases both the routing distance and energy consumption. Simulation studies show that this protocol can construct the route very fast with less energy consumption and achieves short routing distance, so it can be used for large-scale wireless sensor networks.
