Prof. ZHANG Hui received her BEng and MEng degrees in computer science and engineering, with honors, from Zhejiang University in 1999 and 2002, respectively. Afterwards, she studied at the University of Hong Kong and received the PhD degree in computer vision in 2007. 

Her research interests include computer vision, graphics and virtual reality, etc. 

Prof. ZHANG is an IEEE senior member. She has authored/co-authored more than 40 papers in top journals/conferences such as IEEE TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, ACM MM, BMVC, ACCV, etc. Among them, Transaction on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI, IF:17.861), Transaction on Image Processing (TIP, IF:9.34), IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), ACM Conference on Multimedia (ACM Multimedia) are the first-tier journals and conferences in CCF ranking. She has been acted as PI / CI for multiple national, provincial and municipal projects (including 4 projects from National Natural Science Foundation). She has applied for or been granted 7 patents.

Currently, she is a Professor and Programme Director of Computer Science and Technology at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College.
