| Abstract | The objective of this study is to identify patterns of university support for scientific and technological research. The approach is primarily exploratory, in that the emphasis is on uncovering and interpreting expenditure patterns rather than on testing specific hypothesis. Nevertheless, it is hoped that this analysis will provide policy makers with more concrete evidence upon which decisions may be based. |
